SOUND POLICY BEGINS WITH INFORMED DECISION MAKERS
Take part in the important effort to support our
200-year-old investment in arts and culture
Opportunities abound. Find one that suits you.
If supporting arts and culture means more to you than buying a ticket or visiting a museum, you’re in the right place. We need your help to sustain and nurture arts and culture in our region. We encourage you to simply get involved.
To start, sign up for our online community and learn about news and current events firsthand. You will also receive updates on community discussion and cultural roundtables, where you will be able to discuss current policy issues with arts advocates and leaders in the arts and cultural community.
But you don’t need us to become an advocate. You can do a lot on your own, like getting to know your elected officials, and talking with them about the importance of arts and culture. You can also take your concern for arts and culture to the public with a letter to the editor.
Perhaps the most effective method for building a case for public funding is through educating others. Talk to your friends and family. Share information about arts and culture with a community group or organization. We can help you by providing resources and facts.
