Valerie L. Schumacher

Program Associate

Valerie Schumacher joined CPAC as a Program Associate in June 2008. 

She is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of CPAC’s research and capacity building programs, including Creative Compass, an initiative to increase artists' access to affordable space and better integrate them into community revitalization efforts. She also assists in the development of the Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute (AEI).  Prior to joining CPAC, Ms. Schumacher served as a marketing intern for the production of “Brooklyn the Musical” at Playhouse Square Foundation, as well as for the Baldwin-Wallace Annual Student Art Exhibition.  She graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio, Entrepreneurship, and Arts Management.
